A Hopi Elder speaks: “You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are questions to be considered: Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your Truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader.” Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time.” WISDOM OF THE ELDERS There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift, that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you an...

Have a seat….relax…and read this slowly. It kind of sums it all up…....... I believe – That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I believe – That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. I believe – That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love. I believe – That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life. I believe – That it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be. I believe – That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. I believe – That you can keep going long after you can’t. I believe – That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel. I believe – That either you control your attitude or it controls you. I believe – That regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fade...

Friends

First, an acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every now and then, who you probably have something in common with and who you feel comfortable around. It’s a person that you can invite to your home and share things with. But they are people who you wouldn’t share your life with, whose actions sometimes you don’t understand because you don’t know enough about them.. On the other hand, a friend is someone you love. Not that you are “in love” with them, but you care about them and you think about them when they are not there. The people you are reminded of when you see something they might like, and you know this because you know them so well. They are the people whose pictures you have and whose faces are in your head regardless. They are the people you see in your mind when you hear a song on the radio because they made you go up ...

Not liking the rollercoaster

But hubby is saying I spoke too soon. Seems the unit he was volunteering to go with… doesn’t have any open spots. So, yes, it’s now 2-4 months before Active duty. Whee! My back is out, and I have a MILLION boxes to go thru, stuff to get rid of. though in other good news, I DID get the Liveops/telephone customer service job from home.

Ho-kay… Hubby had news…

Ho-kay… Hubby had news… Posted in Uncategorized by badger Seriously, seriously freaked this time. Hubby is going back to Iraq , probably before the end of the year again. He’s currently in EMT school in Salina , and he messaged me on Yahoo this afternoon. SCARED the crap out of me, cause he said… ‘Um.. We need to talk.’... Now, to me… first I thought he was mad about money, then I thought he was asking for a divorce. (it will be 10 years on the 19th.) His reply when I told him that? ‘Hell No! You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. ’ smile through my tears Thank you, Coyote, I love you too. I will miss you and worry fiercely every day.
